“Living the Edge,” explores how Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda, has been growing, with a population that is expected to double from 1.13 million in 2012 to 2 million by 2020, increasing the demand for housing throughout the city. Houses built along the slope in Kigali are part of a High Risk Zone for flooding, which can devastate homes and render many people homeless. This project reveals the struggles of those who are affected by this disaster.
